My name is Jackie Soriano, the executive producer, creator, and host of Three Strange Women, an LGBT radio show airing Mondays from 2:00-4:00pm on UNregular Radio's UNcensored Stream. In our short time as an organization, TSW has worked with a number of notable non-profit and local LGBT organizations to spread light, hope, and positivity to members of our community across the world via internet radio and social media. January marks our 18th month on air, and we're happy to announce that we're actively planning our next project!
LGBT Pride Month takes place each June to honor the Stonewall Riots of 1969. Each year to kick off Pride Month, Boston celebrates by holding its annual Pride Parade and Festival on the first Saturday of the month. This year, we, at Three Strange Women, are working hard to raise money for our own float in Boston's Pride Parade!
We are reaching out to you and your company for donations to our fundraiser. The total amount we are striving for is $2,500. This would be to cover the cost of the entry fee, materials and decorations to create the float, flyers, banners, and t-shirts. The entry fee is only $275 if payment is submitted by February 28th and increases significantly thereafter. I am more than happy to promote your business on my radio show and via social media in exchange for your assistance with our fundraiser. We have already teamed up with a towing company that has graciously donated us the use of one of their flat bed trucks to us for the day of the parade!
