Back in the day we had an open mic every 4th Saturday in addition to our 2nd Thursdays and as a result we were able to accommodate almost everyone's schedule;we're trying to get back to the good ol' days! Are you down for the cause?! [the only answer is 'yes!', btw]
few things to note;
1. YOUTH POETS are welcomed for the first hour!!
2. cover is $5
3. we are starting at 8pm, AN HOUR EARLIER than normal
4. Club Cafe offers full food service
5. it's a table & chairs arrangement [rather than just chairs]
6. The Mic Awaits is focused on the mic [so no film or DJ]
7. and of course we are still dedicated to providing the LGBTQIA Communities of Colors with a non-elitist, non-bias, all-are-welcomed platform on which to speak up and and speak out!
