Salem PRIDE: City of Peace

Salem First Coalition is proud to co-sponsor with Go Out Loud on creating an event celebrating our city’s history and future through peace! Following the momentous success of last year’s Pride Kickoff with US Congressmen Barney Frank, John Tierney, Mayor Kim Driscoll and more than 250 friends, Go Out Loud invites you to join local politicians, community leaders, friends and families for this celebration with surprise guest speakers and appearances. Portion of proceeds to benefit North Shore Community Action Programs. Featured Speaker: Nick Porto, Salem State alum, activist and fashion designer who was the first victim in the recent wave of hate crimes in New York City. Guest Speakers: US Congressman Ed Markey US Congressman John Tierney Governor’s Council Eileen Duff Salem Mayor Kim Driscoll with a special greeting by US Senator Elizabeth Warren.
