Second Saturday co-founder Kris Kono lost her life to cancer- and each year we raise funds in her memory. This year's Konocopia fundraiser will support cancer research at Dana Farber via Team Konocopia in the Pan-Mass Challenge. Proceeds will go to promoting research and awareness of a cure of Cancer of Unknown Primary -- the disease that took Kris Kono at age 46. Boston's former Mayor Menino also has just been diagnosed with the complex cancer.
