Tree Lighting BBQ

On Tuesday, June 3rd, the Greater Boston Business Council and will host the Pre Pride Lights BBQ beginning at 5:30 pm. The BBQ will be followed by the return of the well-loved Pride lights tree lighting on the BCA Plaza. Pride lights are a 30 year tradition in the South End that for many years marked the beginning of Pride in the Community. As Pride has grown over the past 25 years and many events have been added to the calendar, Pride Lights remains a unique and significant t event treasured by the LGBT community and specifically the LGBT business community. The Tree Lighting in front of the BCA represents to the LGBT Community not only that Pride has begun but in fact a cause in motion whereby local businesses were seeking LGBT equality through economic prosperity.
