Outlayer Opening Reception

OUTLAYER and OUTLOUD are collaborative events featuring fashion design and fashion related artwork that is off-center, over the line, impractical, even (un)wearable. Artists Dawna Davis, Nathan Evans and Sara Kitaeff are curating a fashion experience that will introduce you to sophisticated, unusual and existential designs. Local designers, including but not limited to Anna Comella, Lisa Knox, Allana Taranto, Philip Sawyer, Karen McFeaters, Sara Tchen-Susman, Traeger DiPietro, Nikolay Cherny, Reginald Merome and the curators themselves use a combination of conventional and unconventional materials to create a one-of-a-kind show that will pique your interest and might even blow your mind. The runway show, OUTLOUD, will serve as the closing event for the OUTLAYER exhibition. Featuring even more artists, including talented student designers from Lasell College, the runway show will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 6:00 pm.
