On a quiet street - best for al fresco
This is not my favorite place only because there is nothing special about the restaurant. However, if you want a quiet place to dine al fresco in the summer months this might be the place for you. However, there are easily a half dozen other places in similar price ranges with more options and a better atmosphere.
Nice & Relaxed & Casual
Parter and I were visiting Boston and was looking to try a restruant in the South End. We stumbled into Joe V's and found it to be quite enjoyable. There was a mixture of gay men and others dinning inside and out. We shared a nice mixed green salad and garlic bread. The pizza was very good and delicious. We like the nice casual atmosphere and the waiter made us feel quite at home as visitors to city.

Pizza, Pasta & Wine
A great place to share a bottle of wine and a delicious pizza w/ someone special. No full bar. Outside seating is great. Inexpensive!
