Fun and great to meet guys!

Last time there before moving to Phoenix, AZ in 2000. It was my place to go every Saturday!

Disappointing

I don't like their mandatory coat-check policy in the winter months, sometimes you just want to keep a jacket on....very unfriendly door staff , pretty dead on a Friday night at 12:30 this place used to rock in the 80s and 90s, I guess everyone is hooking up with apps...which have killed the bar and club scene. That's why it surprises me to see restrictions and rules like this which turn people off...good luck, I'm sure MIT will eventually buy the building and close this place down... As it is there is little to no parking, it's impossible to find a space. so I never come anymore

As far as gay clubs go, this is the best the Boston area can manage. The beer selection upstairs is decent and the guys aren't entirely unfriendly, although I wouldn't expect much conversation if you go alone, unless you're very outgoing/buzzed. Downstairs, it's a big dark mess with a pretty fun dance floor, which is extremely rare in this area. Lately, this is where some of the sexier guys have been showing up on Saturdays. On the downside, the place is generally dirty and the dancers upstairs are pathetic.

This place is ridiculous!

Used to come here a lot for great music and dancing, could always look past the porn playing on TVs and the poor strippers. But then I tried to bring some girlfriends (having warned them about porn, strippers, etc) for a great night of dancing. In one case, they told one of the girls that she was going to have to check her coat dress (ZERO tolerance on the coat check policy). When we tried pointing out that she had nothing on underneath a MOST unpleasant manager came out screaming at us. Even though we never made it past the coat check, they refused to refund the cover charge we had just paid. In another case they told another girl she couldn't come in because she was wearing heels. HEELS! They say it's because someone fell down the stairs in heels and they're afraid of being liable. Apparently it's not just the strippers that don't have balls. Maybe they're just trying to make it hard for women to come in. I don't know, it doesn't matter. I'll never return here.

Lame

Music was boring, drinks were really bad. When leaving, we waiting in the coat check line for 45 minutes and the club hadn't even closed yet.
