Good times
One of my fav bars to go to. If ur looking for a chill bourbon st atmosphere with 1 of the funniest bartenders in boston, this is ur spot.
Boring until late..then cool 2 hook up if U want..
Hey, I was not impressed earlier in the eve, but later at night, it was fun. So, the place is good & bad like anything else. I like that it gets crowded late & you can hook up if you want. It's not a place where you have to go with friends. There are enough people to be able to find someone to talk to about something.
Day Bartender nice
Got there early only three people in the bar...nice bartender, he advised that the place go for happy hour crowd was Fritz (see other review on them) I came back around nine about 10 people in bar....i drank my drink and went back to hotel where at least people speak to you. Boston= the most unfriendly, clickish gay scenes I have ever seen. I thought DC and NYC were bad but you have definately got them beat. Recommendation, stay at Hotel, hang at lobby bar and get on Craigslist if you want gay encounters.

Everyone has their own opinion; and I follow my opinion with my money. This establishment is in NO way a remembrance of any Eagle bar. The decor says dirty and dingy with a few pieces of old posters and "should have never seen the light of day"-junk. This may have been a TRUE Eagle at some point in the past, but sorry to say it is no more.
