Boston needs more dive bars!!!
It doesnt have to be a hook up bar. But boston is missing a good dive bar / lounge scene. I just moved back from NYC...I think the Eagle is the closest you can come to an old fashioned NYC dive bar in NYC. (minus burgers)
SO MUCH FUN!!
I came to visit a friend and I am from CT. I have to say that the bartenders were AWSOME! Talk about buy one get one free!! I did not have to say a word, they knew what I wanted and smiled to me and my friends every time. I would def tell my friends to make this a stop on any night of the week. Any queens who say different would be because they acted like girls instead of men. If you like the company of men then this is the place to be.
It's what you make of it
Neighborhood bar, older crowd, busy toward the end of the night as people are looking to get laid. It's definitely a hole in the wall bar.
ok ...so its NOT avalon and sums up to just a little hole in the wall ...BUT BUT BUT ...its also notorious as a LATE NIGHT LAST STOP (especially if your looking to score)
Of all people to be mean, its not me but read up
This truely is a hole, psychos lurk, the bartender hates you unless he thinks he can berade you (he is a lush and a prick because of his insecurity). I am a nice guy but meeting that flamer was horrible. If he likes you, you fit in way too well, run if he does and run if he does not (like you). Sketchy to say the least.
