Avoid at all cost.

Ask anyone in Boston about The Eagle, and the first thing they say is "I hate that asshole Jack". Jack is of course, the owners lover and bartender. He is a tired old queen and is just one miserable prick. Unless you are part of the clique in here, forget about getting served. The biggest mistake people make with this place is that they assume it is like every other Eagle Bar in the country. It is not a leather bar at all. It is simply a shitty dive bar with bitter old queens. It is only busy from 1AM till close. It is the last resort for anyone looking to get laid at night. The rest of the time, it is empty.

DUMP

I do not mind seedy bars. Anyone who visits metro. areas often has seen it all. Yet there is nothing interesting, clean, friendly or sexy about this dump. Jack, a fixture bar tender/owner here is so rude the only way to really get back at this nasty old queen is to not spend ANY of your money here.

Dead and unfriendly

Visiting Boston and from the description this place sounded perfect. I walked the mile from my hotel and was sorely disappointed. The unfriendly bartender took his time serving my drink even though I was one of 5 people in the entire bar. This is one to miss!
