Not what it was.
Bartenders are awesome and the drinks strong, but it has lost its charm. It needs a makeover STAT!!! When there are leather events it is a must go!! If not it's a pass. If you wear harness and gear you will get more stares because they rarely wear it. Those who do (locals) should not!!! Music is awesome best nights Friday and Saturday. Go downstairs for more fun.
Prefer the downstairs @ Ramrod
Downstairs @ Ramrod is not really a leather bar although still technically part of Ramrod; guys intermingle from Machine the disco portion of the club and is filled with pool tables. I like hanging out here with a beer and people watching on Friday nights.
Leather
This bar is fun later in the night. Leather is only inforced in the back room. Looking for mr. Right now? This is the place for you
Not like it used to be....
IF there is a local leather club event going on, then you'll see a nice selection of leather. Even the expected busiest nights (Fri&Sat) is more and more of the lookie-loo boys from Machine downstairs with their female friends which come up to visit. No more dress code requirement, that is for sure. The BEST positive of the place is that a most of the bartenders are friendly. Music is typically good with a different genre for the night. It does make for a decent place to have a slow-night late evening drink.
A REAL Leather Bar!
when your traveling, you need to always have an extra suitcase for leather, cowboy, cashmere sweater and sport coat. We put on our leather and had a great time at this bar. Back rooms are HOT! Just go with the flow and enjoy yourself. Actually it was one of the best leather bars we have been to in the last 5 years.
