AWSOME
Went there last week with my partner and friends for a birthday dinner and dancing. The atmosphere was intoxicating the staff was very friendly, i simply loved it there haven't danced in over 8 years, could not stop dancing the whole night. I give the place a 10
Sumwhat nice, but could use some help perhaps.
I believe Dbar is an ok place to go with a friend or a special someone. VERY unfriendly staff we found, and perhaps not the greatest attitudes. We were treated ok, but the staff did not extend themselves at all, and seemed in their own world. Perhaps an off night, or they thought we were not Upper Clientele ... of course we didn`t take our IRS recipts ... haha. Would go back and visit again ... things can always change.
Just ok
I wouldnt call this place upscale, maybe a little bit. Upscale is where the staff are friendly and smile while they deliver exceptional service. This place is very clique on tuesdays when they play show tunes. The waiters are all good looking but very unfriendly and stuck up acting. Food is mediocre. Atmosphere is okay. I prefer the ashmont grill where the service is impecable. Dbar bartenders cant ppur a pint of guinness to save their lives!! Big let down!

I would have giving them a couple more stars and use to go frequently. But over rhe past months it seems the drinks have gotten weaker and the bartenders have either attiute or no personality.but food is good and and will still stop by hopong it will change since its close to home.
Fun local gay bar
Really enjoy this bar in Boston's neighborhood, Dorchester. Plan on needing a cab or driving. The bar also gets a great crowd each Tuesday night for "Show Tune Tuesdays", which starts at 9pm.
