Friends,
I have been involved with the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Gala Dinner for many years, first as a Table Captain, then serving as Table Captain Co-Chair. This year I have the distinct honor of serving as the Dinner Co-Chair and I want YOU to join me as I undertake this exciting and meaningful journey.

Friends,
I have been involved with the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Gala Dinner for many years, first as a Table Captain, then serving as Table Captain Co-Chair. This year I have the distinct honor of serving as the Dinner Co-Chair and I want YOU to join me as I undertake this exciting and meaningful journey.
Serving as my Co-Chair is Jen Dold, a close and dear friend from my college days and a straight ally to HRC. She comes to us with years of experience running the annual Boston Snow Ball and brings many new ideas that we are excited to implement. Jen and I believe that the message of human equality is stronger the greater and more diverse the voices. It is our intention that the HRC Gala Dinner welcome anyone who believes in and supports equality for LGBT individuals. This is where YOU come in!
Over the years you have heard me tell you about the vital political role the Human Rights Campaign plays in LGBT civil rights. 2012 is no exception as issues of equality are front-page news across our nation. LGBT-supportive candidates, like Senate-candidate Elizabeth Warren here in Massachusetts need our support. Most importantly, as the presidential election gets underway, HRC's voice must be loud and clear in support of the re-election of our President, Barack Obama. For these reasons, I support HRC and I invite you to join me and take a leading role in the Gala, Boston's premiere HRC fundraiser.
This years dinner will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at The Marriott Copley. Tickets prices are $225.00 (unchanged from 2011) plus a $7.50 processing fee and can be purchased by following the links at http://www.hrcboston.org. Please save this date in your calendar and bookmark both the New England Gala Dinner website and Facebook page for information updates throughout the year.
I have been passionate about the cause for equality for years and now through the work of HRC I have a platform to make these dreams a reality! I am thrilled by the opportunity to help raise awareness and money in support of this message. And, we KNOW how to throw a party!
On behalf of Jen and the HRC Dinner Committee, we look forward to seeing you at the dinner to support HRC and celebrate the great work of LGBT equality.
Cheers,
Brian J.Bourquin
