monthly community discussion group for Men of color 21 and up. My Brother's Keeper will focus on the unique and sometimes difficult life experiences of Gay, Bi-Sexual, MSM, Transgender,Questioning Men of Color, and Allies.
This group will help build a healthier Gay, Bi-Sexual, MSM, Transgender, Questioning Men of Color and Allies community in
the Greater Boston area. We will bring visibility to the unique experiences that GBTQ Men of color go through, and help
GBTQ Men of color find access to services that are available in the Greater Boston area. HBGC and The MALE Center want to create and sustain a safe space for GBTQ Men of color to learn with as well as from each other.
Group discussions with topics ranging from politics to pop culture: the group will also partake in activities that help us explore
and share our backgrounds, identities, and relationships with monthly open & honest conversations.
My Brother's Keeper is also looking for Presenters/Facilitators, and workshop/discussion ideas for the 2014 cycle. If you or anyone you may know that would be a good fit for this mission please email Quincey (qroberts@hbgc-boston.org) or Amir (amirdixon@hbgc-boston.org)
