Awesome music
The downstairs dance floor plays awesome music on Friday evenings. I know the place can seem seedy upstairs with all the graphic porno playing, but go downstairs and hear the music. It's also a very diverse looking crowd, not the usual all preppy that you get at a lot of other places, but some preppy, some seedy, some young, some old, etc. It's right between MIT and Harvard, so you get a lot of students too. It's really a mix and as a result a fun, but different special mix, if that makes any sense.
No Strippers Monday
Monday is Karaoke 10PM to 1 AM; so if you are going for the strippers, well, wait a day or sing a sad song. On the other nights the boys are as nice and friendly as anywhere you could go. They ask your name and they will remember it. They get started about 10:30. It sort of sets a tone of civility that is unique.
Paradise has expanded their dance floor
Not really a fan of this place but had a great time over Pride Weekend downstairs which has expanded and is now huge. Upstairs is raunchy w/ go go dancers and mostly lecherous men. Downstairs can be fun on the right weekend, but I would only go with a big group of friends. Best night to go: Saturday.

Paradise advise from a local
This bar has a very broad spectum of patrons. The only nights it is crowded is Saturday night and not until after 11 pm. Lower level has a good sized dance floor but the music is predictable abd totally uninspired.
